At the Durrell Lecture we will discuss how fundamentally important forests and trees are in fighting the climate emergency and how forest restoration is a vital part of our rewilding strategy across the globe.


Keynote Speakers

Dr Lesley Dickie: Chief Executive Officer of Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust
Lesley will discuss how forest restoration is a vital part of Durrell’s conservation mission around the world and also our future forest restoration plans.

Professor Miles Richardson: A key academic partner of Durrell and a passionate advocate for nature
Miles leads the Nature Connectedness Unit at the University of Derby, and will share how his ground-breaking work has led to greater understanding of how we connect to nature and why it is important our physical and mental health.
