AT DUSK 1

Durrell at Dusk – June

Friday 29th June 2018 , 18:00-21:00

Spend your Friday evening exploring Jersey Zoo at dusk — including all the best bits from last year's Durrell at Dusk events, but with a love-themed twist!

Dine with us at Café Dodo or Café Firefly, where you can choose from a selection of delicious 'Street Food' dishes from around the world. Eat in or alfresco or even bring a picnic blanket, where you can enjoy the street food offerings or a variety of cold picnic options on the go within the Zoo grounds.

Attend our special Keeper Talks — you’ll get to hear all about the animals’ love lives, their babies and more. Please note these are a little different to our usual talks, so parental discretion may be advised!

Pop in to see Karen at Café Dodo to have your face painted, and then visit Kirindy Cabin for ‘HeArts & Crafts’. Design your own love heart — tell us your favourite animal at the Zoo and what you love about them. Once you’re done, hang it up for everyone to see! We’ll choose our favourite and announce it on Facebook the following week – the winner will receive a picture of their favourite animal.

Look out for love-themed blackboards around the Zoo – take a selfie with your favourite and let us know on social media using the hashtag #DurrellDoesLove. Treat your date to some flowers, grown with love at our onsite Organic Farm. Then head to the Manor House for live music and a dance!

As you make your way around the Zoo, take a break at one of our wild outdoor snuggle stops — sit, relax, take in the view and enjoy a drink with your ‘Durrell date’. It’s the perfect evening to spend with that special someone!
