ABOUT THE PERFORMANCES
MY FAMILY & OTHER ANIMALS
A twenty-minute highlight from Jersey Arts Centre’s 2007 stage adaptation of Gerald Durrell’s ‘My Family and Other Animals’ performed especially for Durrell at Dusk visitors. Meet all your Durrellian favourites in this mildly nostalgic account of the natural history of Corfu – or rather the comic opera chaos of Larry, Leslie, Margo and Spiro! Not to mention the Magenpies and a myriad of animals! Performed by members of Jersey Arts Centre’s youtheatre together with Nicole Twinam as Mrs Durrell and Nick Carver as Spiro.
An irrepressible dodo battles with a greedy old man to save the rainforest in Stayin' Alive, a show for Jersey Zoo by the Jodie Lee Performing Arts Academy. Join them at the Manor House for a song and dance spectacular with a strong conservation message!
