Hours: Full time, 5 days per week (flexible times can be arranged)

Length: 6 months

Location: Jersey Zoo, Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust’s headquarters in Jersey, Channel Islands

Start date: Flexible (ideally before October 2019)


Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust is pleased to be able to offer a six-month research training internship at Jersey Zoo. The internship is an opportunity for the successful candidate to experience working life in a leading species conservation organisation and to further their knowledge of conservation science techniques. The main purpose of the role is to work with Durrell's Conservation Knowledge team to develop the organisation’s activities and research programme around nature connection and captive animal management, in support of their strategic conservation goals.
